Asian Community Health at Berkeley is a student-led, community-centered organization at UC Berkeley founded in 2023 by Cal alumna Megan Ly. Our mission is to ensure that every individual, regardless of their linguistic or cultural background, can access the benefits of good health.

We provide free healthcare services and resources to support Asian and Limited English Proficient (LEP) communities across the Bay Area.

Everyone is welcome to join, training will be provided for all roles!

What we do

Clinical Stations

We welcome students of all backgrounds who share a commitment of advancing accessible and equitable healthcare for all. Training is provided for each station. No prior healthcare or clinical experience is required to volunteer.

Check-in
Patient registration and intake coordination at the start of each screening event.
Blood Pressure
Systolic and diastolic blood pressure measurement and recording.
Blood Glucose
Blood glucose level testing to screen for diabetes and related conditions.
Visual Acuity & Peripheral Vision
Distance visual acuity, Near visual acuity (NVA) and peripheral vision testing.
Health Kits & Wellness
Health kits distribution and wellness brochures.
